Red Ribbon Week was held at GAA from October 21st to October 24th to honor those who are fighting the war against drugs. We were happy to join in this venerable, nationwide event. From K3 to 12th grade, everyone proudly wore their red ribbons, promising to keep their vow to stay DRUG FREE.
We had visitors from the Justice department as well as juvenile probation officers. We learned many things from them. We also had a theme for each day, like wearing red neckties or red socks! GAA showed their spirit through their participation in these events.
