GAA Retreat: Rekindled

SA Religious Vice President Joash Jano-Edward opened the two-day retreat with teachings on how Christians should take care of the things God gives them. The theme of this year’s GAA Retreat was to “rekindle” the fire within and to remind how important it is to have God at the center of our daily lives.

BASKETBALL IS BACK!

The basketball season has begun for the boys high school division. For the first time in several years, Guam Adventist Academy has representation in the IIAAG basketball league this school year. GAA Angels played their first game against Guam High Panthers and it was a very good first game for our young boys!

GAA Handbell Choir

The Guam Adventist Academy Handbell Choir has been busy during this holiday season sharing their music to people around the island of Guam. under the tutelage of Mrs. Marie Dela Paz, this group comprised of new and returning ringers have made strides and a lot of progress since the beginning of this school year. As this semester winds down, they will conclude their holiday performances next week at the Sheraton Laguna Hotel. Check out their schedule and make plans to listen to the harmonious holiday music this group makes.

NAD Teachers Convention 2018

(Chicago, Illinois) Teachers from the North American Division congregated at the McCormick Convention Center from August 5 to 9, 2018 to attend the 2018 NAD Teachers’ Convention. Around eight thousand teachers gathered to share, learn, deepen, and broaden the understanding and appreciation of their calling through various programs and events from breakout sessions, inspirational speakers, and exhibits with the theme “Encounter Jesus: Experience Excellence”.
